Benevolence for Lucatero Family

We previously have asked prayer on behalf of Carlos and Veronica Lucatero as their little girl Emma was diagnosed with leukemia this summer. Emma has been undergoing treatments. Waterbrook Bible Fellowship has set up a special benevolent fund to assist this family with medical bills during Emma’s treatments. You can give to this benevolent fund via the Online Giving link on this website. The giving portal is on a secure server. After entering your gift amount, be sure to select that your gift is designated for the “Emma Lucatero Benevolence Fund.” Here are more details on this fund…

The Waterbrook leadership council has established a benevolent fund designated “Emma Lucatero Benevolence Fund.” (ELBF)

Monies donated to this designated fund at Waterbrook Bible Fellowship are held in reserve for the Lucatero family to meet expenses associated with the leukemia treatments of little Emma. Any disbursement from this benevolent fund must meet all guidelines of the Waterbrook Bible Fellowship Financial Policy Handbook. (Primarily proof of need for disbursement and appropriate corresponding paperwork and validation of expenses.)

Donations made to the Emma Lucatero Benevolent Fund must include a designation to that fund at the time a gift is given. Donations to the ELBF are tax deductible as long as the gift with not given in exchange for any goods or services. A tax receipt will be issued for any gifts to this fund. Tax receipts are typically sent from out accounting office at the end of the calendar year; however a receipt can be sent earlier upon request.

Gifts can be given in person at the Waterbrook office during office hours or in the regular offering of WBF worship services (remembering to mark the designation on the check or envelope). They can also be mailed to the church office at 507 Thomas St., Wylie, TX 75098 or via our secure online giving link found at

Giving toward our regular benevolence fund is also available at this link. Gifts given to the baseline “Benevolence Fund” are used for needs of families typically associated with Waterbrook.
