Current Sermon Series: “Intimate Conversations”

Join us at Waterbrook Bible Fellowship this fall for a series studying the final things Jesus shared with his disciples as a group. WBF Lead Pastor Jeff Denton and Teaching Pastor Stephen Bramer are teaching through chapters 15-17 of the Gospel of John.

Recognizing the power of the final time together as a group before He would be arrested and crucified, Jesus spent time with his disciples in the Upper Room. This conversation, also referred to the Upper Room Discourse, covered a variety of topics as Jesus prepared His closest followers for what was about the happen and their future as followers of Christ in a sinful world. This series is a continuation of a series earlier this year through John 13-14.

The topics John recorded in his Gospel are still relevant for Jesus’ followers today. To understand these final items covered by Jesus in this “Intimate Conversation” with his closest friends Pastors Bramer and Denton will break down these chapters into a week-by-week walk through everything Jesus was saying. Discover how Jesus impressed upon them the importance of love, the trials they would endure, and the help of the coming Holy Spirit. Learn how Jesus prayed for his friends and how those prayers still impact us in 2018.

The “Intimate Conversations” Series is being preached at Waterbrook Sunday morning worship services through November 2018. Sermons are available online at the WBF Vimeo channel [for videos] and on iTunes [for the audio podcast].

Waterbrook Bible Fellowship is located at 507 Thomas Street in Wylie, Texas. Worship services are Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 10:55. Anyone is welcome to attend WBF services.
