December Sermon Series at Waterbrook 2019

When you hear someone begin, “All I want for Christmas is…”, what comes to mind? Is it a child with a lisp completing that sentence with “…my two front teeth”?

Maybe you think of the Mariah Carey song, “All I Want For Christmas Is You”? Consider these lyrics from that song:

I don’t want a lot for Christmas there is just one thing I need, and I
Don’t care about the presents underneath the Christmas tree
I don’t need to hang my stocking there upon the fireplace
Santa Claus won’t make me happy with a toy on Christmas day

I just want you for my own; More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true – All I want for Christmas is you

Teaching Pastor Stephen Bramer will be looking at our Christmas list from a different perspective. There are many people wandering through this holiday season saying, “All I want for Christmas is a person who understands, a person to believe in, and a person who loves me.” Discover what you really want and need during this Christmas sermon series at Waterbrook beginning Sunday, December 8th at 9:30 and 10:55 each Sunday.
