Fireside Chat – This Sunday at Waterbrook

Fireside Chat 2015

Sharing the journey of your life can be an encouragement to others. That’s why occasionally at Waterbrook we set aside a standard sermon and give a church member the opportunity to tell their extended story of how they came to faith in Christ and what changed because of it. That’s will happen in our worship services this weekend at Waterbrook Bible Fellowship. Pastor Jeff Denton will be joined by a WBF member who will share their story of abuse, rejection, and a chasing of many things in the search for happiness before finally discovering ultimate peace in Christ. This tender and touching story may be exactly what you need to hear as you consider what you’re Thankful for this holiday season. Hear the story as Pastor Jeff and his guest sit beside the fireplace and discuss how Christ can change a life…including your life.

This weekend’s worship service will also include a special Thanksgiving Scripture reading and a presentation by a representative of Gideon’s International (the organization that places Bibles in hotel rooms and military bases around the world). A special love offering will be collected at the end of each worship service for the ministry of the Gideons. The services will also include the sharing of communion this weekend.

Waterbrook Bible Fellowship is located at 507 Thomas Street in Wylie, Texas. Worship services meet Sunday mornings at 9:30 and 10:55 am. Everyone is welcome to these worship services.
