Intervention Series Notes Online Here

Depression, Anger and Fear and three emotional conditions that come with self-condemnation. We assume others are judging us, and sometimes they are. During our three-week series, “INTERVENTION: A Moment of Hope,” we’ll be looking at what God has to say about these situations. Should we expect people to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and move on with life? This series is intended to help us know we’re not alone in our struggles. These issues are common, not uncommon, in the church. We can also help one another through the healing process. Join us and you may experience your own “INTERVENTION: A Moment of Hope.”

I wanted to know if the congregation there was mixed with different people from all walks of life. I’m asking this question because I want to show my children how people of all colors can come together and worship God because in heaven all races will be together praising God.

  2. admin says:

    Miss Quinn,
    Thank you for your question.
Waterbrook is dedicated to trying to reflect heaven as much as possible here on earth. Therefore, we have publicly declared our desire to be welcome to people of all races, ethnicities, nationalities, economic distinctions and ages. As Wylie has been growing in racial diversity, so has our congregation. You will see several persons of color within our congregation. This includes mixed race families – by marriage and adoption. We are hopefully growing in our reflection of the reality of heavenly diversity.
    Pastor Jeff
