Waterbrook hosts the first “All Family” Saturday Seminar on January 26, 2019.

Putting It Together is a morning of study for children, teens and adults on how to take good information and apply it to life. Three separate classes will meet in tandem from 9:00 a.m. to Noon that day. Each seminar is free and open to the public. Advance registration is limited for some classes.

WHAT GOD DOES

For Children (Kindergarten – 4th Grades)
WBF Children’s Pastor Yun Li has arranged for staff from Child Evangelism Fellowship to present a class geared specifically for school-age children on the stories of how God can do amazing things in the lives of His people. This will be illustrated through the stories of Noah, Saul and Mephibosheth. Every child will participate in engaging activities and leave with scripture verses memorized to help them as they develop their own sense of what God can do through their lives today.

UNDERSTANDING THE BIBLE with Dr. Stephen Bramer

For Students (5th Grade – College)
Students (Teens & College) aren’t too young to understand the details of God’s Word. Teaching Pastor and Seminary Professor Dr. Stephen Bramer will spend three hours helping students grasp how to study and apply the Bible to their lives. In this seminar walk with Dr. Bramer through a simple process of how to read and comprehend the words God has given to us. Bring your Bible, a pen and your friends! Pastor Stephen will teach, answer questions and use some “dad humor” to engage you in this pursuit of understanding God’s Word.

MILESTONES FOR PARENTS with Pastor Jeff Denton

For Parents, Grandparents, Teachers
Parenting – every parent wonders if they’re doing it right! Is my child advancing correctly and appropriately? Will the baby ever sleep through the night? Will I ever be able to trust my teen? Will my son ever stop climbing up everything? When will my daughter stop being so emotional? The unending questions every parent faces that makes them wonder if they’re helping their child grow appropriately or condemning them to perpetual counseling one day to talk about how their parents did everything wrong. This class will help you discover how to be a confident parent at every stage of parenting and learn milestones to help advance your infant/child/teen toward independence one day. One part instruction and one part dialogue with other parents who are on the same journey to share tips and advice.
