Rush is our ministry for high school students (9th-12th grades). They meet Sunday mornings during the 10:55am session in the 100 Building Rush Room. Sunday mornings are taught by Thomas & Brittany Williams and they lead discussion, prayer and Bible study that make up the Sunday morning class. Rush students just completed a year long study on Proverbs and are now working through a new series that will help students learn how to share their faith.
Each summer, students have the opportunity to participate in Mission:Rush (see what’s happening this year). This summer, the week long mission trip puts students in charge as they develop a VBS curriculum to present to the Karen Tribe children. The Karen Tribe is made up of Burma refugees. Rush students will be sharing the Gospel, playing games, creating crafts and leading songs for children in the apartment complex. Mission:Rush starts July 12, so check back for updates about the trip each day.
Rush students are also involved in the other Student Ministry activities. You can check those out here.
