ALL MEN are invited to Meat-A-Palooza Wednesday, August 3rd at 6:30 pm! You won’t want to miss this annual event, particularly if you like meat! Enjoy all the meat you can eat as well as an inspiring speaker and great fellowship. This year’s dynamic speaker is former Texas Rangers All-Star catcher Jim Sundberg!


Student Ministry activities this Wednesday will be a little different than normal: Guys in 7-12th grades are encouraged to attend Meat-A-Palooza!


A little bit about the career of Jim Sundberg:


Major League Baseball Player: Texas Rangers, KC Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago Cubs

16 year MLB veteran

6-Gold Gloves (1976-1981)

3-Time American League All-Star (1974, 1978, 1984)

’85 World Series Champion with KC Royals

Jim Sundberg Community Service Award given annually by Texas Rangers

Color Analyst for Texas Rangers Baseball television broadcast, KTVT (1990-1995)

Voted “Best Broadcast Team” with partner Steve Busby by Dallas Observer (1995).

Developed, Produced, and Distributed sports training products nationwide:
