Race, Injustice & Faith: A Special Online Event Sunday, June 7th

Waterbrook Bible Fellowship is hosting an important day of worship and conversation about the issues of Injustice, Race and Faith. This comes at an important point in our national history. Services will be live streamed on all Waterbrook streaming channels (Facebook & YouTube). CLICK HERE for more about access to live streaming channels.

This unique day is a partnership with other pastors and churches in our area.

We will begin with our weekly PreGame Show hosted by Pastors Jeff & John. They will be joined by comedian and pastor Jason Earls. The fun of the PreGame Show begins at 9:30 AM and continues directly into our Worship Service.

The 10:00 AM Worship will include a moment for children, songs of praise led by our band and a sermon dialogue on "The Heart of the Matter" with Pastor Jeff and Jason Earls. We will have a special moment of scripture and prayer led by Pastor Patrick Nolen of Vibrant Life Baptist Church (Sachse).

DISCUSSION OF INJUSTICE, RACE & FAITH - Continues from the Worship Service

Our worship continues into the panel discussion moderated by Pastor Jeff with guests including: Jason Earls (Teaching Pastor, Gold Creek Community Church, Mill Creek, WA), Patrick Nolen (Senior Pastor, Vibrant Life Baptist Church, Sachse), Rick Wood (Senior Pastor, The Pursuit Christian Fellowship, Sachse), and Percy Singleton (minister who has preached at WBF previously). The discussion will focus on helping other Christians understand the black experience in America from the perspective of these godly leaders. This will include some differences between white and black families, what white Christians don't understand about the black experience, and ideas for all Christians to become allies in the struggle against injustice.

This live stream is available for open viewing on the Waterbrook channels. Due to coronavirus restrictions there is limited auditorium seating available on the Waterbrook campus. CLICK HERE for a reserved seat (until filled).
