Shepherding Call During Isolation
Updated: Mar 27
As everyone's lives have been altered by the current crisis, we're looking for ways to continue to care for every individual in our church family. I've always said Waterbrook is great because the people shepherd one another. It's time for us to take that initiative to a new level.
Beginning next week we are seeking to have every WBF attender get a Shepherding Check-In call. Simple calls to see how you're doing, get prayer requests to share with staff, and to become aware of any needs present in our congregation.
We need a TEAM of people to help us with those calls. Would you be willing to call five individuals/families once a week to check on them and let them know someone cares? This is a ministry anyone can do from home. Our Shepherd Callers will receive a list of five persons/families to call on behalf of WBF. We have a very simple online form to fill out after your calls to pass on any needs or prayer requests. We needs lots of folks to step into this Shepherd Caller role immediately.
If you are willing, please CLICK HERE and complete the online form that will alert staff to your willingness to be part of this caring outreach. Those who complete the form by Saturday night will have an envelope with information available for pick up during this Sunday's DRIVE THRU CHURCH times. You can also volunteer during your DRIVE THRU Sunday morning.
Thank you for helping us care for one another.
