Volunteers! We want to invite you to a special Volunteer Training that we will be putting on this November.
This training will be mandatory for ALL VOLUNTEERS that work with any minor. We will be covering Waterbrook’s safety policies, sexual abuse awareness training, best practices and more. We have been continuing to develop and tweak these policies since our last training as we have continued to meet with other churches and our lawyers. Our goal has always been to provide a safe and trustworthy environment for kids and students to learn and experience God. Again, you play the most vital role in that and we want to make sure that we’re all on the same page when it comes to safety at Waterbrook.
The training won’t all be about safety though! We will also include a session or two on why you matter so much to us and to our families. Our hope is that you leave this training informed and encouraged in your positions.
DETAILS:
The trainings will be 2 hours long and will take place at 3 different times. YOU ONLY NEED TO ATTEND ONE TRAINING.
Training 1 – Saturday, November 11 – 9am-11am
Training 2 – Sunday, November 12 – 1pm-3pm (lunch provided)
Training 3 – Tuesday, November 14 – 6pm-8pm
REGISTRATION:
To help us best prepare our space and materials, we need you to register for one of these events. You can do so online at the link below. When you register, you will be asked to choose a training session to attend.
